As you conduct your pre-conference research, take advantage of the following websites and resources:

CIA World Factbook – https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/
• This is an excellent site to obtain raw data and statistics on countries around the world. Using these figures helps to support the statements you make during committee.

Google Scholar – http://scholar.google.com/
• You can perform searches for scholarly articles, journal pieces, and research publications on Google Scholar. Keep in mind that you must be using trustworthy, reliable sources in your position papers while debating in committee.

Google News - http://news.google.com/
• This is a good search engine to browse recent and past news article on the subject of your choice.

Official UN Websites
• Each committee at BMUN 58 models a real-world committee. Go to the actual committee’s website to find official briefs and documents highlighting the issues that the committee is dealing with or has handled in the past.

Delegate Guide
• The Delegate Guide provides all the information you need to know to prepare for and participate in BMUN 58. The BMUN Delegate Guide can be found here
